Jason Borchert, PE, Approved for Point of Sale Evaluations

3.10.10 Gourdie-Fraser (GFA) would like to congratulate wastewater engineer and contract operator Jason Borchert, PE for receiving his Certificate of Training approving him to conduct Point of Sale (POS) inspections in Manistee and Kalkaska Counties. These counties are members of District Health Department #10.

Mr. Borchert is also approved for the POS inspection program in Long Lake Township, and has conducted numerous inspections since the policy went into effect.

Point of Sale inspections help home buyers accurately assess the condition of a home prior to purchase. The programs often include rigorous evaluations of both septic and well systems. In addition to POS inspections, Mr. Borchert is a specialist in designing wastewaster systems for difficult waterfront sites. He also provides contract operations services for water systems, private wastewater treatment systems (ATUs) and public wastewater treatment systems.
