Great Wolf Lodge (Traverse City, MI)
The Great Wolf Lodge is one of the newest members of a resort group from Great Lakes Companies and one of the newest employers in Grand Traverse County.  As a family destination resort they were attracted to the Traverse City area, and believed it to be the perfect place for their newest showplace.
With the assistance of Gourdie-Fraser, the process moved forward. In addition to the permitting process, Gourdie-Fraser also set up meetings with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to explore the possibility of some grant funding for the water and sewer service.
The MEDC granted $760,000 to the township to supply service to the lodge and surrounding area.
The end result? A new asset the community and over 200 new jobs at this year-round resort.
